Ariens, Calumet County to be featured on Discover Wisconsin

The Ariens Museum will be one of many sites around Calumet County to be featured in the newest episode of Discover Wisconsin.
Discover Wisconsin is the nation’s longest running travel and tourism television series. The episode – titled “Calumet, A County for All Seasons” – will highlight activities around Calumet County that are suitable for any weather season from snow activities to petting zoos to camping in the summer.
Show host Eric Paulsen will explore Calumet County first in the fall with a stop at Polly’s Pumpkin Patch and Heritage Orchard in Chilton, and later, Mulberry Lane Farm near Hilbert to meet farm animals.
Paulsen stops by Ariens Museum for a wintertime activity to see how power equipment, specifically snowmobiles, are utilized. He also visits Lake Winnebago for sturgeon spearing and Vern’s Cheese in Chilton.
The Ariens Museum at 109 Calumet Street in Brillion details the company’s storied history and the evolution of its equipment. In recent years, the company has put high amounts of resources into the facility to revamp it and make it a destination to hold instructions and seminars. It is available for visitors Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum has multiple exhibits. Former company employees have dedicated a lot of time to the museum.
The episode airs statewide this Saturday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. on Bally Sports Wisconsin. The episode is also available for early streaming beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 4 p.m. by visiting discoverwisconsin.com or through various streaming apps.
