The Calumet County Forage Council will be hosting a summer field day together with the Greg Bohman Farm on Wednesday, August 8,
The field day program will take place at a field at the corner of Rusch Road and County PP in the Town of Brillion, north of the City of Brillion.
Features include:
Demonstration and discussion of Low Disturbance Manure application between newly planted corn rows.
Stabilized nitrogen application on corn
Foliar nitrogen application using several products to evaluate comparison to conventional application.
Dvorachek Farm & Industry LLC will be there to demonstrate low disturbance tool bar with a drag hose. The field is a demo site where corn was planted after combining wheat. Andy Kiefer from Outagamie County Land Conservation Department and Jesse Dvorachek will be there to talk about the equipment. Kevin Erb will also be there to talk about nitrogen applications.
