BRILLION - The Lions are regional champions for the second season in a row after surviving a thriller, 64-63 against Denmark on Saturday night.
The Lions trailed for most of the second half and were without Jeremy Lorenz, who fouled out, for the final four minutes.
The Lions hung around and pulled within one before the following sequence happened, which are available to view below.
The Lions forced a key steal down a point with 23.3 seconds left. Parker Braun was fouled on a drive to the basket.
Braun made both free throws. The first was a high-bouncer that tied the game at 63. The second gave the Lions the lead.
The final defensive stop by the Lions including Grady Geiger knocking the ball away from Denmark.
