Brillion man faces felony sexual assault

Brandon J. Sonnabend, 26, faces a Felony C charge for second degree sexual assault through use or threat of force or violence.

Sonnabend’s address in the case filing is listed as 417 Roselawn Drive in Brillion.

Sonnabend faces additional charge modifiers as a repeat offender and faces a lifetime supervision of serious sex offenders.

Sonnabend was charged in 2016 for third degree sexual assault, second degree sexual assault through use or threat of force or violence, and second degree sexual assault with injury to a sex organ. Sonnabend was guilty due to a no contest plea to the third degree sexual assault charge. The other two charges were dismissed but read into record.

Sonnabend’s initial court appearance is scheduled for July 5 at 11 a.m.
