A $10,000 reward is being offered for Eric Boll, a 2010 Brillion High School graduate, for any information that leads to finding him.

Editor's note: A previous version of this story said that the family was offering $10,000 reward. The reward was raised by friends and co-workers who are sponsoring a fundraiser.

Eric was last seen leaving his residence on the east side of Madison at 7 a.m. on Aug. 24 on his e-bike and has not been seen or heard from since. He was officially reported as a missing person by the City of Madison Police Department on Sept. 4.

“We want Eric home,” Trish Moehn, Eric’s mother, told The Brillion News. “We have reason to believe he is in mental crisis and there is the possibility he could hurt himself.”

Moehn said Eric is not believed to be a danger to anyone else.

The family is asking people in the Madison area to check green spaces, outbuildings or sheds near or on their property. The family is also asking that farmers and hunters keep an eye out during hunting and harvesting.

If anyone has cameras in the Madison area, specifically the east side, the family is hoping they can review the morning of Aug. 24.

“We want him home. We love him and we only want to help,” Moehn said.

The family lived in Forest Junction and Eric and his siblings attended Brillion High School.

If someone has information about Eric’s whereabouts, please contact the Dane County Communications non-emergency number at 609-255-2345 or report online at P3TIPs.com.
