Critical injuries from Fox River crash

TOWN OF WRIGHTSTOWN - A 21-year old Menasha area man was critically injured on Wednesday, May 6, in a one-vehicle crash on Brown County ZZ, the road that follows the Fox River's east bank north from the Village of Wrightstown.




The Brown County Sheriff's Department's Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash, which was report around 7:45 p.m. on County ZZ near Partridge Road.

The driver, alone in the car, suffered life-threatening injuries. He was flown to an area hospital by helicopter.






Deputies say speed was likely a factor. The speed limit there is 35 miles per hour. In the past, it has been 55 m.p.h.

The man's current condition has not been made public, nor has his name.
