BRILLION – Three new minds will be taking over Bakkheia Wine and Spirits in Brillion beginning on Wednesday, September 5.
Don Emmer, Tyler See, and Frank Martin will be taking the place from Doug Buboltz and Don Mathiebe.
“We have been looking for opportunities to get into business together for some time, I’d say at least the last three years,” Emmer said. “This was a chance for us to do that and really hit a home run.”
The three say that they want to keep what is already established, but at the same time put a slight spin on ideas.
Days and hours of operation will change to Wednesday through Sunday. Wednesday through Friday will open at 4 p.m. and close at midnight. Saturdays and Sundays will be open from 9 a.m. until midnight.
The viewing experience will change inside with larger televisions. They also plan to improve the patio experience outside. The food and beverage menus will change slightly, and new events will be added to the calendar as the year goes on, they say.
All three are familiar with this area. Emmer grew up in Brillion and worked in the city for many years. He’s now the vice president and sales manager for Route 66 Warranty company and represents the Midwest. See is a financial advisor for Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management and grew up in Chilton. Martin is a senior financial analyst for Schreiber Foods who graduated from Wrightstown High School and grew up in Greenleaf.
