Incorporation milestone could come Thursday

GREENLEAF - The Wrightstown Town Board has scheduled a special board meeting for Thursday, September 30, at 5:30 p.m. to discuss, and perhaps act, on submitting a revised application to incorporate Greenleaf as a village.

The meeting will take place at the town hall, 1527 Day Street.

The meeting notice allows for the board to go into closed session for "Review and possible action." regarding incorporation issues.

A year ago, the state Department of Administration denied the town's petition to incorporate Greenleaf as a village, but the state also indicated what needed to change in the application to make it more amenable.
