Krepline earns gold at state meet

The Brillion News June 25, 2021 LA CROSSE - Brillion High School senior Hunter Krepline ended his high school career in grand fashion with a first-place medal in the 1600-meter run during Friday's WIAA Division 2 State Track and Field Championships in La Crosse. Krepline won the competition in 4:14.65, ahead of Valders' Shane Griepentrog.

Krepline also finished on the podium in the 3200-meter run with a fourth-place finish. Griepentrog took first in that event. Brillion sophomore Megan Schuman earned her way on the podium with a fifth-place finish in the triple jump. Wrightstown senior Grace Blauert represented the Tigers on the podium with a third-place finish in the pole vault event.
