Obituary: Arlene A. Leuman

Arlene A. Leuman, age 87, a Brillion resident, died Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay.

She was born on August 10, 1935 in the town of Maple Grove, daughter of the late Frank and Merna (Krueger) Thurow. Arlene was a graduate of Brillion High School, Class of 1953. On October 6, 1956 she married Leslie “Bud” Leuman in Brillion. He preceded her in death on August 6, 2001. Arlene was employed at Calumet County Bank after high school until Larry was born in 1964.

Survivors include her son: Larry Leuman, Brillion; a brother: Rodney Thurow, Jonesburrow, GA; a sister: Delores Krahn, Manitowoc; and a sister-in-law: Pat Carroll-Leuman, Green Bay. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by a sister: Doris (Roland) Zeamer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Eugene Krahn, Verona (Earl) Geiger Sr., Betty (Wilburt) Dallmann, Arnold “Pee Wee” Leuman Jr.; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Arnold and Viola Leuman.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Brillion. Officiating at the Service will be the Rev. Ross Henzi and Rev. Thomas Fricke with burial in the church cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Brillion, from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2023 until 10:45 a.m. Online condolences may be made.
