Obituary: Bonnie J. Vechart

Bonnie J. Vechart, age 81, of Brillion, passed away Saturday morning, November 23, 2024 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay. 




Bonnie was born on December 23, 1942 in Appleton, daughter of the late Lloyd and Selvera (Mack) Loewe. She was a graduate of Hilbert High School and then went on to receive her nurse’s aide certificate. On May 25, 1963 she married Roger C. “Whitey” Vechart. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2017. Bonnie was employed as a medical assistant for many years in Chilton and also later established R Way Systems and Mobile Equipment Sales with her husband Roger.  Bonnie was part of a cribbage club previously and still part of a brigde club which still meets every month. She was also a founding member of Brillion Community Church. She enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers games. Bonnie also enjoyed baking, making jam as well as pickles. She loved spending winters in Florida and spending time at the cottage on Pine Lake in Hiles. Above all else, she valued spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. 

Survivors include her children: Jeff (Kim) Vechart, Orlando, FL, Mike (Tracy) Vechart, Huger, SC, Tiffany (Jeremy) Piepenburg, Brillion; her grandchildren: Keely (Carson) Bowen, Abby Vechart, Morgan Vechart, Olivia Piepenburg; one brother: Robert (Eileen) Loewe, Oshkosh; and one sister: Barbara (Tom) Konan, Hilbert. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one son: Steve Vechart. 

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Brillion Community Church. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Joe Weier with burial to follow in the church cemetery. 

The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Brillion Community Church from 9:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.
