Clarence Thuecks, age 72, a Brillion resident, died Sunday, April 10, 2022 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton.
He was born on June 10, 1949 in Jericho, son of the late Aloysius and Catherine (Karls) Thuecks. Clarence was a graduate of Chilton High School. On October 19, 1979 he married the former Anne Krzewina at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Jericho. She preceded him in death on July 19, 2015. Clarence was a farmer on his own farm. After leaving farming, he operated a tavern/restaurant named The Clover Inn.
He was also later employed at Valley Packaging as a purchase agent for 29 years until his MS forced him to retire. He was a past member of the Eagles Club, Chilton.
Survivors include three sisters and brothers-in-law: Julie Juckem, Chilton, Olga (Ronald) Kleist, Collins, and Mary (Joseph) Roehrig, New Holstein; and his nieces and nephews: Richard, Sandy, Kevin, Kendra, Karla, Kyle, Lisa and Amy. Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends also survive.
Besides his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a brother: Anthony Thuecks and a brother-in-law: Herman Juckem.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion. Officiating at the Service will be Deacon Greg Van Thiel with burial at Holy Trinity Church Cemetery, Jericho, at a later date. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, from 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2022 until 12:45 p.m.
