Dale S. Heimke, age 64, of Wilson, passed away peacefully but suddenly at home on Monday, July 15, 2024.
Dale was born on September 9, 1959, son of the late Stanley and Louise (Landmann) Heimke. He was a graduate of Brillion High School, class of 1977. Dale married Kim Krueger on April 24, 1982 at Faith United Methodist Church in Brillion. Dale started his career at the Brillion Iron Works, but he went back to school at Fox Valley Technical College, and received a degree in Printing and Publishing. He then was employed at Zander Press Inc. until 1995 when the couple moved to the west side of the state. Here Dale worked at AgSource Milk Testing for a time, the Woodville Public Library, was a Coordinator for the Center of Independent Living, and was currently a clerk at the Boyceville US Post Office. Dale enjoyed motorcycle riding with Kim, gardening, fishing, and was an avid reader. But above all, he enjoyed being with his wife Kim and spending time with his friends and family.
Dale is survived by his wife, Kim of Wilson; one brother and sister-in-law: Lee (Lynn) of West Bend; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Vicky (Matt) Vechart of Appleton; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant siblings, father-in-law and mother-in-law: Kenley & Sandra “Sandy” (Sachs) Krueger, and other relatives.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home, 215 S. Main Street in Brillion. Officiating will be Rev. Joe Weiers. Burial will follow at Brillion Community Cemetery.
Friends may call at Olson Funeral Home 615 Wilson Avenue in Menomonie, WI 54751 on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
A Second Visitation will be held before the Funeral Service at Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
