OBITUARY: Daryl G. Lau

Daryl G. Lau, age 68 of Brillion, died unexpectedly on Wednesday August 7, 2019.

He was born in Green Bay on October 28, 1950, son of the late Delbert and Rita (Wittmann) Lau. Daryl was a graduate of Brillion High School. On November 5, 1973, he married Christine Kolbe at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. John. Daryl worked at the Brillion Iron Works until his retirement.

Survivors include his daughters, Carrie Wenzel of Brillion and fiancé Dave Staletski, Dara (Andrew) Schuh of Reedsville, 5 grandchildren, Avery and Lily Wenzel, Landon, Quinn and Wesley Schuh, a brother, Ty Lau of Kaukauna and 3 sisters, Evie (Don) Busse of Reedsville, Denise (Ralph) Schmitting  of Brillion and Roxanne (Jim) Schmitting of Brillion and many other relatives and friends. Daryl was preceded in death by his parents and his, wife Christine in 2002.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 14th at 7:00 p.m. at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. The Rev. Nancy Zorn Micke will officiate. Burial will be at Knollwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Manitowoc. Visitation will take place at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Wednesday, from 4:00 pm. until the time of service.
