Doris Mae Haese, age 87, of Brillion, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2022 with her husband by her side at Rivers Bend in Manitowoc.
Doris was born on December 8, 1934 at the family farm house north of Collins, daughter of the late Fred & Linda (Herzog) Wunsch. She was a graduate of Valders High School, class of 1953. On December 28, 1957, she married Rodney Haese at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Collins. Doris was employed at Mirro Foley in Manitowoc until she married Rodney. After their marriage, she worked in the mail room at AAL until the death of her sister-in-law. Doris and Rodney then moved to help their family for a few years until they purchased their own farm and started their own family. Doris enjoyed gardening and especially loved her family.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Rodney; their children: Linda (special friend, Kathie) Haese of Seattle, WA, and twins Christopher (Carrie) of Juneau and Craig of Appleton; grandchildren: Rebecka Mae, Robert, Alaina, and Ella; brothers-in-law: Carlton (Nancy) Haese of Chilton and Kenneth Haese of Greendale; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law: Lorraine (Howard) Fischer; one brother and three sisters-in-law: Eldor (Arlene) Wunsch, Nancy Haese, and Shirley Haese.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Brillion. Officiating will be Rev. Ross Henzi and Rev. Thomas Fricke. Burial will be in Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Brillion.
Friends may call at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
