Obituary: Jeffery “Jeff” Lee Braun

Jeffery “Jeff” Lee Braun, aged 60, of Palatine, IL, passed away on April 29th, 2023.

Jeff was born on February 26th, 1963, son of the Late Barbara “Barb” and Jerome “Jiggs” Braun. He graduated from Reedsville High School, Reedsville, WI, class of 1981. He served our country in the United States Army from 1981 to 1992, and he was a Sgt – E5 when he returned to civilian life. Jeff worked as an IT Director for TSMGI – The Specialty Marketing Group, Inc. in Deerfield, IL.

Jeff was an avid golfer and loved technology in general. Jeff enjoyed designing systems, websites, and helping others with his extensive knowledge of computers. After years of military service, Jeff also loved military history and traveling. Jeff was a devout Catholic and was spiritually focused with a deep commitment to his faith.

Jeff is survived by his siblings: Deborah (the late Paul) Krepline, Melanie (Tony) Hills, David (Mary) Braun: Four Nephews: Chris (Brianne) Krepline, Matthew (Allison) Hills, Shawn (Emybeth) Hills, Josh (Ariel) Braun; Six Nieces: Jessica (Will) Pech, Samantha (Tom) Brault, Naomi (Matthew) Wilson, Elizabeth (Kelley) Parker, Ashley Braun, Amber Braun; and 22 Great Nieces and Great Nephews.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023 at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Whitelaw. Military Rites will be accorded by the AmVets Post 1032 of Reedsville.
