Jill M. Peters, age 65, of Brillion, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc surrounded by her family.
Jill was born on April 16, 1958 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Norbert and Helen (Bacon) Peters. She was a graduate of Brillion High School, class of 1976. Jill owned and operated the Sandman Motel for many years. This is where she also started her Clean Cut Canine business. Her love of animals became part of her career. Jill moved out to her farm to fulfill her dreams. There she continued her pet grooming business and was able to enjoy her animals, traveled when she could, and had space to enjoy. Throughout the years Jill enjoyed being social through bean bags and bowling league. Jill truly cared about Brillion. She enjoyed history and saved Brillion memorabilia, gave back when she could, and volunteered her time and talents through the Brillion Optimist Club for many years. Most of all, she loved her family, “favorites” and all, and the times they had together.
Jill will continue to be loved in this life by her daughter and son-in-law: Chelsea (James) Dorn of Appleton; grandson and her joy: Archer; her siblings and in-laws: Tom (Terri) Peters and Joy (Gary) Gilbertson, all of Brillion; nieces and nephews: Scott, Stacy, Nicole, Heather, Ben, Elisa and John; great-niece and great-nephews: Cash, Gage, Clara and Addison; father of Chelsea: Fritz Wyngaard of Brillion; other relatives, and many friends.
She will be greeted in heaven by her parents, her brother: Dennis; and other family members.
Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. Officiating will be Deacon Greg Van Thiel.
