Obituary: Kay Lynn Krueger

Kay Lynn Krueger, age 72, a Brillion resident, passed away unexpectedly March 11th, 2024. 

She was born on February 21st, 1952 in Alpena, Michigan daughter to the late Karl F. and Lucille (King) Hasse. Kay was a graduate of Brillion High School, Class of 1970. 

Kay was a hairdresser in Neenah during the early part of her career at the salon, Where the girls are and eventually moving to Panache' in Green Bay where she transitioned into being a nail technician.  Ending her beauty career closer to home at Hair Tellers in Potter. She met some life-long friends during this journey of her life.

Kay then acquired her health Insurance license and founded The Krueger Family Insurance agency and had continued on that path until present.  She really loved the insurance business and servicing her community and clients through her passion of helping and caring for others. Kay enjoyed crafting and sewing, especially with her granddaughters.  The girls will continue this tradition with each other as they grow older and continue to appreciate the pure joy of learning this skill from their Nana. 

Kay also enjoyed tending to her flower beds and Sunday brunch with her friends.  She always made sure those around her felt loved, especially during holidays and special occasions.  Her door was always open and she loved to host her friends and family any chance she could get. 

Survivors include a son Jason Krueger, Madison; a daughter and son-in-law: Joelle (Garett) Zimpel, Brillion; Two granddaughters: Amelia & Rachel Zimpel, Brillion; one brother and sister-in-law: Kip (Marilyn) Hasse, Brillion; and brother-in-law: Darryl McMahon, Kewaunee. She was preceded in death by a sister: Karla McMahon. 

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
