Nicholas J. “Nick” Schiesl age 83, formerly of Kellnersville and a current resident of the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center, passed away early Saturday morning, January 4, 2025 at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center.
In the past Nick was active in the KBA, Kellnersville Volunteer Fire Dept., various snowmobile clubs and bowling leagues.
Survivors include his wife: Jan Schiesl; three sons and daughters-in-law: Dean (Angie) Schiesl, Mike (Brenda) Schiesl, Lee (Jackie) Schiesl; one daughter: Kelly Miller-Schiesl; seven grandchildren: Ethan Schiesl, Alivia (Josh) Vande Hey, Jason (Macey) Schiesl, Jesse Schiesl and his significant other: Erika Webber, Joseph and Joshua Schiesl, Dakota (Andrew) Hynek; 16 great grandchildren; two brothers: Donald Schiesl and his significant other: Mary, Jack Schiesl; one sister: Dorothy Baumann; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Barbara Schiesl, Karyl Schaefer, Gene (Kay) Wachal; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Nicholas and Hilda Schiesl; one brother: Leonard Schiesl; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Joseph and Helen Wachal; 4 brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Gary Baumann, Connie Schiesl, Patricia (Tom) Burkart, Don Wachal, Jim Schaefer.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday January 12, 2025 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 1124 Main St. Kellnersville. Deacon Paul Gleichner will officiate with entombment at the Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of services at 3:00 PM
