Obituary: Norma Langemann Armstrong

Norma Langemann Armstrong, 94, of Menominee, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

She was born in Brillion, WI on June 4, 1927 to the late August and Marie (Meierkord) Langemann. She has two sisters, Pat Mrotek (Gene) and Lois Schuh (Arnie) as well as many cherished nephews and nieces.

Norma served as a bank teller in Brillion, Manitowoc and Chicago, IL. She married Robert Emery Armstrong on April 8, 1956 in Brillion. He preceded her in death on November 30, 2004. Also preceding her in death was her first born child, Janet. Norma is survived by two other children, Michael Armstrong (Valerie) and Nissa Annakindt; four granddaughters, Kristen Armstrong, Jennifer Clement (Tyler), Brianna Armstrong (Brian Harrison) and Hannah Fry (Ray); and 9 great-grandchildren, Lucas, Jewel, Lilah, Madilyn, Ayvah, Braeden, Nolan, Ezekiel and Charlotte.

Norma was a proud member of Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Marinette, the Victorian Ladies and Gents Society, the West Shore Fishing Museum and was a Treasurer and Guide Director for the Menominee County Historical Society.

Visitation will be held at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home in Marinette, WI on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 1 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 2 p.m.
