Paul “Fox” S. Fredrick, age 76, a Reedsville resident, died Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay.
He was born on March 6, 1944 in Manitowoc, son of the late Hugo and Selma “Sally” Winkler Fredrick. Paul was a graduate of Reedsville High School, Class of 1962. On October 6, 1979 he married the former Vickie VanAsten at St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. She preceded him in death on April 15, 2006. Paul started his work career as a farmer and then went to Brillion Iron Works, retiring in 2010. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, fishing on Lake Michigan, dartball, golfing, shooting pool, and gardening. In his later years, he enjoyed visiting with people and would be seen all around town. Paul was an avid Packers, Brewers, Badgers and Panther fan and enjoyed watching Reedsville football practices and games as an “assistant coach”. He also enjoyed his fur grand babies: Ronnie, Charlie, Henry and Macey. Paul was known to have peppermint on the rocks, “easy on the ice” after a meal. But most of all, he loved his grandchildren and spending time with them.
Survivors include his children: Sheri (Annette), Scott (Tracy), Aaron (Amber), Bradley (Mara), his grandchildren: Kylee (Tyler), Cameron (special friend Aubrey), Cassidy, Aubree & Teegan; his goddaughter: Tani (Steve) Plate; one sister: Faye Hoehne; and in-laws: Lee VanAsten, Alan (Peg) VanAsten, Barb VanAsten, Bonnie Hopfensperger, Debbie Hartjes and Russ Brittnacher.
