OBITUARY: Roger Allen Sr.

On December 9, 2020 Roger Allen Sr. age 78 of Wausaukee (formerly of Reedsville) passed away peacefully with family by his side. Roger was born January 2, 1942 in Rice Lake WI, son of the late James & Martha Allen.

Roger met and married the love of his life, the late Pauline (Foytik) Allen, on November 30, 1968 in Reedsville, WI. Together, they raised their 5 children whom they loved dearly. Roger worked as a proud employee of the Brillion Iron Works for 33 years. “Big Rog” was very active in the community; from coaching his childrens’ athletic teams to volunteering as a firefighter. What Roger loved most was the outdoors. He spent as much time as he could hunting, fishing and camping. He never missed the Eagle River Musky Fishing Tournament, and loved telling his stories even if the fish got a little bigger each time he told them. Later in life, he greatly enjoyed his morning trips to the local gas station, where he spent time catching up with good friends over coffee and cookies.

He is survived by his 5 children, Lynn Allen, Green Bay; Yvonne (Jamie) Schisel, Appleton; Michelle (Chris)

Schwanke, Neenah; Kristie Allen (Matt Endries), St. Nazianz; and Roger (Shanna) Allen Jr., Green Bay.
