Rudolph W. Boeder, 90, Wayside, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 21, 2018.
He was born June 17, 1927 to the late Richard and Louise Boeder. Rudy attended Brillion High School, and then went on to serve in the U.S. Army. On May 29, 1954 he married Marjorie Lemke at Trinity Lutheran church, Rantoul. He farmed for most of his life, and enjoyed working around the farm on machinery, driving tractors, polka music and was an avid reader. He worked for a time at Brillion Iron Works and Fort Howard Paper Company, but it was the time spent with family that meant the most to him.
He is survived by his wife Marjorie, their children; Thomas Boeder, Victor (Diane) Boeder, Diane (Fiancé Tom Horkman), Boeder, Mark Boeder, son-in-law Pete Kristof, as well as six grandchildren; Jessica, Miranda, Donna, William, Kristine, Timothy, his 8 great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Debralie Kristof, and his siblings; Irmgard (Ralph) Burton, Ruth (Peter) Bohnert, Mathilda (Ervin) Kollath, and Esther (Lester) Kollath.
Friends may call at Zion Lutheran Church, Wayside, after 9:00AM Thursday April 26, 2018 until time of service at 11:00AM with Pastor Austen Welter officiating.
