OBITUARY: Steven R. Vechart

Steven R. Vechart, age 49, a Brillion resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, October 11, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton after a recent battle with heart complications.

He was born on October 18, 1971 in Green Bay, son of Bonnie (Loewe) Vechart and the late Roger “Whitey” Vechart. Steve graduated from Brillion High School in 1990 and earned his bachelor degree at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh in 1994. After college he worked at Mobile Equipment Sales as the Sales and Operation Manager. He also owned and operated an auto detailing business for several years.

Steve enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially spending time with friends and family golfing and fishing. He acquired a passion for all things cars from his late father Roger and was self-taught in many things and was able to fix just about anything. Steve was very active with Brillion Community Church from the beginning. He was a friend to everyone and was very talented.

Survivors include his mother: Bonnie Vechart, Brillion; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Jeffrey (Kimberly) Vechart, Kissimmee, FL., Michael (Tracy) Vechart, Jackson, WI; one sister and brother-in-law: Tiffany (Jeremy) Piepenburg, Brillion and his nieces: Keely (Carson) Bowen, Abby Vechart, Morgan Vechart, Olivia Piepenburg, his dog Mogie, other relatives, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father: Roger Vechart and his grandparents: John & Anna Vechart and Lloyd & Sally Loewe.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Brillion Community Church from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2021. Visitation will continue Saturday morning, October 16, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. also at church. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Rev. Joe Weiers. Burial at Brillion Community Church Cemetery.
