Obituary: Timothy J. “Tim” Steeber,

Timothy J. “Tim” Steeber, age 74, of Chilton, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born March 2, 1949 in Manitowoc, son of the late Paul & Beatrice “Pat” (Brandl) Steeber. Tim married Gail Boettcher on September 3, 1971 at Faith United Methodist Church in Brillion.

Tim is survived by his wife, Gail; daughters, Brenda (Chip Morris) Steeber, Stacy (Shane) Wendt; grandchildren, Reegan & Rylee Woodard; step-granddaughter, Olivia (Adam) Vechart; sister, Melodee Steeber and her friend, Rick Saxinger; siblings-in-law, Gwen (Ken) Weber, Wayne (Cindy) Boettcher, Sue Boettcher and Lynda Steeber. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and great friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Reuben and Dorothy Boettcher; infant daughter, Sherry Jo Steeber; son-in-law, Lonnie Woodard; brother, Nick Steeber and brother-in-law, Glenn Boettcher.

Funeral service will be at 5:30 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton with Rev. Dale Eggert officiating. Burial will be in the Brillion Community Cemetery in Brillion, Wisconsin. Visitation will take place at Wieting Family Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023.
