CALUMET COUNTY - A 70-year-old Brillion man is dead following a one-vehicle rollover crash on Wednesday afternoon.
The Wisconsin State Patrol Northeast Region reported that it received a call at 2:24 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon for a crash at the intersection of U.S. Highway 10 and County Road D in the Town of Woodville near Brillion.
The preliminary investigation indicated that a sedan, driven by a 70-year-old male from Brillion, was traveling westbound on Highway 10 when the sedan drifted off the roadway, struck a culvert and rolled over at Country Road D.
The 70-year-old male and lone occupant was medically transported from the scene and sustained fatal injuries.
The name of the individual involved is not being released at this time. The Wisconsin State Patrol Technical Reconstruction Unit assisted with investigating the crash.
Assisting agencies included Calumet County Sheriff’s Department, Hollandtown Fire Department, Harrison Fire Department, Brillion Ambulance and ThedaStar.
