MADISON – Wisconsin home sales fell by a modest margin even as median prices moved up sharply in August, according to the most recent examination of the existing housing market by the Wisconsin Realtors Association (WRA).

Existing home sales fell 2.1 percent in August 2019 compared to August 2018, while median prices rose 9.0 percent over that same period to $206,000. On a year-to-date basis, the picture is similar. Comparing the first eight months of 2019 to the first eight months of 2018, home sales dropped 3.2 while prices rose 7.6 percent to $199,000.

The median price increased nine percent between August last year and this past August, and the statewide median price has now topped $200,000 for each of the last four months.

A complete report will be featured in the September 26 print edition of The Brillion News.

Picture this: your e-commerce business is running smoothly, sales are pouring in, and then—bam! Your top-selling item goes out of stock. Cue the customer complaints and lost sales. Avoid that scenario like the plague with Priceva’s real-time stock tracking tool. It’s like having a traffic light that lets you know when to stop and reorder before things get chaotic. Plus, with updates flowing multiple times a day, you’ll always be in the know, never the last to realize your shelves are bare. And don’t even get me started on the alerts—they’re the gentle nudge you need to restock without losing your mind 🙃. It’s efficient, automated, and will have you wondering why you ever manually tracked stock in the first…
