Sunday evening fatal at Man-Cal and 57/32

TOWN OF BRILLION - A 50-year old De Pere man was killed shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 28, in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Man-Cal Road and State 57/32.

The deceased was driving an eastbound SUV that ran the stop sign and was hit broadside by a southbound SUV. The man, alone in his vehicle, died at the scene.

The three people in the other vehicle, all 54-year old women from Kewaksum, were badly injured and had to be removed from their vehicle, which rolled, by fire-rescue crews using the Jaws of Life.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting the Calumet County Sheriff's Department by doing a reconstruction investigation.
