Area track and field athletes qualified for state during sectional competition on Thursday night.


Division 2 Sectional at Little Chute


Brillion:


3200-meter run: Alex Metko, senior (3rd place, 9:50.10)


Long jump: Addie Wenzel, freshman (2nd place, 17-02.00)


Triple jump: Megan Schuman, junior (2nd place, 35-04.50)


4x200-meter relay: Taylor Brandenburg, freshman; Olivia Schuh, junior; Megan Schuman, junior; Addie Wenzel, freshman, and Kallie Kietzer (alternate, junior) (4th place, 1:49.36).


Wrightstown:


Discus throw: Logan Peters, junior (4th place, 147-10)


High jump: Danielle Bruecker, junior (4th place, 5-00.00)

Hilbert:


100-meter hurdles: Laney Halbach, senior (2nd place, 15.98)
