Posted at 12:30 p.m. on October 11, 2019 The Brillion News ASKEATON -The 60-year old driver of a southbound semi tank truck was killed in a wreck at 6:15 a.m. Friday, October 11, on State 57/32, just north of Man-Cal Road. The man, from Pulaski, died when his truck collided with another semi at the driveway to a water plant owned by the Hollandtown Sanitary District. A third vehicle – a car carrying a man, woman and one-year old child from Forest Junction – was involved in a secondary collision. Brown County Sheriff’s Lt. Christopher Knurr said a northbound semi, driven by a 50-year old man from Whitelaw, was on the highway, trying to back into the driveway, when the southbound semi struck it. The adults in the car had minor injuries, and the driver of the northbound truck was not injured. The cab of the southbound tractor got the brunt of the collision, resulting in the fatality. The Brown County Sheriff’s Department Accident Reconstruction Team was given the investigation, along with the county medical examiner’s office. The stretch of highway between Wayside-Holland Road and Man-Cal Road was barricaded off and traffic detoured via Brown County Z, County PP and Calumet County K. The Pulaski man was dead at the scene. All of the people involved in all three vehicles were wearing seat belts. Fire departments from Brown and Calumet counties were dispatched to the scene,along with Brown County deputies, Calumet County deputies, and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
