WIAA boys brackets: Lions, Tigers could meet; Panthers get top seed

The brackets for the path to crowning state boys basketball champions were released by the WIAA on Sunday.

Regional games begin on Tuesday, Feb. 27 and continue on Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2.

The sectional round is Thursday, March 7, and Saturday, March 9. The state tournament is Thursday, March 14 to Saturday, March 16.

Division 3

No. 6 Wrightstown will host No. 11 Campbellsport on Tuesday night. The winner advances to play No. 3 Brillion on Friday night.

Eastern Wisconsin Conference champion Kiel is the No. 1 seed. Xavier is No. 2.

Division 5

Reedsville received the No. 1 seed and will host Valley Christian on Tuesday night. The winner of that will meet the winner of the game between No. 8 Saint Thomas Aquinas and No. 9 Goodman/Pembine on Friday night.  

No. 10 Hilbert will play at No. 7 Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy on Tuesday night. The winner will advance to play the winner of the No. 2 Lourdes Academy and No. 15 Suring game, which is also on Tuesday night.
